Image - As A Man Thinketh So Is He by James Allen Free eBookThe aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he”, not only embraces the whole of a man’s being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life.

A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.

We are the creator and shaper of our destiny by the thoughts we think. We rise and fall in exact accordance with the character of the thoughts that we entertain.

Our environment is the result of what we have thought and done, and our circumstances in the future are being shaped and built by our present desires, aspirations, thoughts and actions. Therefore, when we choose and pursue a particular line of thought, consciously we build our own destiny.

When you believe that your thinking has a lot to do with shaping your life circumstances, then I think you will benefit from James Allen’s book very much. :)

Here’s a brief excerpt from “As A Man Thinketh So Is He”...

“Every man is where he is by the law of his being. The thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there, and in the arrangement of his life there is no element of chance, but all is the result of a law which cannot err. This is just as true of those who feel “out of harmony” with their surroundings as of those who are contented with them.”

“James Allen’s books illustrate the use of the power of thought to increase personal capabilities. Although he never achieved great fame or wealth, his works continue to influence people around the world, including the New Thought movement.” -Amazon

“In 1903, Allen published his third and most famous book As a Man Thinketh. Loosely based on the biblical proverb, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”, the small work eventually became read around the world and brought Allen posthumous fame as one of the pioneering figures of modern inspirational thought.” -Wikipedia
